How To Make A Yellow Dendrobium Corsage

Orchids make lovely corsages like this yellow dendrobium corsage. But, wiring the orchids need a special technique because they are delicate.

Here, I'm going to show you the technique on how to wire orchids when making a corsage.

Materials for this corsage :

• yellow dendrobium

• purple dendrobium buds

• johol leaves

• corsage pin

• floral wire

• floral tape

• ribbon

First and foremost, we need to wire the yellow dendrobiums. We just need three of the dendrobiums.

Using a floral wire, bend the end a bit and insert into the dendrobium bud as shown in the picture below.

After the wire is inserted, wrap the wire together with the stem using floral tape.

The purple dendrobium will also need wiring. Just wrap a floral wire to the stem and tape together using floral tape.

For the johol leaf, insert a floral wire at the back of the leaf, as shown in the picture below, and tape the stem and wire together with floral tape.

Now, arrange the wired yellow dendrobiums, purple dendrobiums and johol leaves in your hands. By holding them in your hands, attach a ribbon bow at the bottom of the flowers.

Tape these together using floral tape.

Next, add the corsage pin at the back of the corsage.

Add your corsage is ready. You can use this corsage at a wedding or at a conference.
