Wedding Car

How do you want your wedding car to be decorated? For a florist, decorating cars for weddings can be challenging. The techniques and mechanics of the decoration has to be very durable. It has to withstand the heat from the outdoors, the vibration and the friction from the wind.

Your decoration must be sturdy, build from a solid foundation. You'll find below pictures of cars, already decorated with flowers for real weddings. See which one suits you and discuss with the florist on how to achieve it.

You may want the front of the car to be decorated, plus the side doors, or just the back, it's your choice. But most often, the front of the car is most decorated.

Here is a pink heart wreath made of pink flowers, tied a white ribbon from the front doors. On the wreath, is a pair of plastic doves, with fake wedding rings.

Here is a retro car, decorated with flowers blooms on top. You can see sunflowers, orange gerbers, alternating with balls of white daisies. These flowers are attached to the car surface using a double sided tape, a good one, of course, so they don't fall off.

Here is a white roses heart wreath, placed in the middle of the wedding car. The wreath base is attached to the car surface using double sided tape. Make sure to spray the flowers with water before the event to make sure they don't get dehydrated.

A 'Just Married' signage hanged from the car doors. The borders were decorated with yellow frills but you can use papery blooms like hydrangeas or carnations to get the same effect.

Look at this wedding detail. The side mirror is decorated with a heart, formed by moss. From the heart, are hanging ivy, a red rose and red ribbon used to tie the heart to the side mirror. I love this idea.

This flower decoration is specifically for this type of car, the spray arrangement is placed on the car lights. You can use mixed flowers to get a beautiful effect.

The back of this vintage car is decorated with white roses and peach carnations, and tied with a ribbon of the same colors.
