Here's What A Vertical Linear Arrangement Looks Like

A vertical linear arrangement is a little bit more advanced than the conventional vertical arrangement. For the conventional type, all the A's ,B's and focal point are made of flowers.

But, in the vertical linear, less flowers but more materials that show lines are used. Hence, the word linear in vertical linear. The vertical shape of the arrangement is maintained, of course. But, you will see more lines in the arrangement.

In this example of a vertical linear arrangement that I am going to show you, I used pink eustoma, reed sticks, beargrass, moss, giant teacup leaves and foliage from China.

Firstly, prepare the container. Here, I used a plain white round and quite low container. I inserted a soaked foam, then cover the foam with moss.

Next, make the frame of the arrangement.

To make up the vertical arrangement frame, I used the reed sticks. Cut them in various lengths and tie them together using copper wire to form the shape of the arrangement.

Then, I intertwined the frame made of reed sticks with beargrass. At this stage alone, you can see the lines that have been created in this arrangement. We want to show these lines, so that's why less flowers are used.

Now, let's insert the pink eustomas. Remember, do not hide the lines.

Next, I inserted the giant teacup leaves so that more weight can be seen at the bottom. As a final touch, to give the arrangement more colour, I added these lovely foliage which I found at the florist.

According to the florist, it is from China and the name is unknown. If I know the name, I would surely put it here. Still under investigation....

Now, here's my example of a vertical linear arrangement.
