Upright Nageire Variation 3
Here, I am going to show you the upright nageire variation 3 arrangement. Just like the upright moribana variation 3 arrangement, the Soe is mirrored to the opposite direction. And the Hikae is in the middle. Shin = 15 degrees forward, on the left Soe = 45 degrees forward, on the right Hikae = 75 degrees frontward, in the middle
Let's look the below kakeizu to find out more in detail. Now, to materialise this arrangement, I've chose Birds Nest Leaves as Shin and Soe, and pink stargazer lilies as the Hikae. First and foremost, prepare the container for this nageire arrangement. As usual, you would also need to prepare the cross-bar fixture or y-fixture to secure your flowers. Once those are done, fill up the container with water and begin inserting the flowers. Begin with inserting the three main stems. The Birds Nest leaves are quite wide, to it is difficult to insert them into tall containers with narrow opening. So what you do is, cut the end of the Birds Nest leaves like this. Next, insert the supporting stems for Hikae. For the supporting stems of Shin and Soe, I've decided to add a little bit of creativity. I'm going to curl up the Birds Nest leaf... and insert them. So, your complete arrangement looks like this.
