Upright Moribana Variation 3

The upright moribana variation 3 arrangement is something like a triangular arrangement.

In this type of arrangement, the Hikae is positioned in the middle, and Soe is mirrored to the opposite direction.

In comparison to the basic upright style, in variation 3 , the Shin, Soe and Hikae's positions are as follows:

Shin = 15 degrees forward, on the left
Soe = 45 degrees forward, on the right
Hikae = 75 degrees frontward, in the midlle

To better understand this style, study the below kakeizu (diagram).

Materials selected to demonstrate this arrangement are orange gerberras and the australian native Wooly Bush.

Firstly, insert the three main stems, just like in the diagram.

After you have inserted them, you can see that the insertion forms a triangle in the kenzan.

Then, add on the supporting stems for Hikae

As well as the supporting stems for Shin and Soe. Then, your arrangement will look like this.
