Slanting Nageire Variation 2

This is a guide on how to make a slanting nageire variation 2 arrangement. The positions of the three main stems for this style is as follows:

Shin = 45 degrees, forward on the left
Soe = 75 degrees, forward on the right
Hikae = 15 degrees, forward on the left

To understand better, study the below kakeizu (diagram).

To make this arrangement, I chose pink gingers as the Shin, Bird of Paradise as the Soe and stargazer lilies as the Hikae.

First, you need to prepare a tall vase because this is a nageire arrangement. As would any nageire arrangement, you need to prepare the cross-bar fixture or y-fixture at the mouth of the vase to secure the flowers.

Then, begin with inserting Shin, Soe and Hikae, just like in the diagram.

Then, continue adding the juushi (supporting stems) for each of the main stem.

Now, your variation 2 slanting style nageire arrangement is ready.
