Ranunculus or Persian Buttercup, are famous in bridal bouquets. They look like roses or peonies but cheaper.

I like them because I think they are sweet. Their petals feel like soft tissue and they are so densely packed surrounding a center.

But ranunculus are seasonal flowers, they bloom in spring. Once they are available, you can find them in white, pink, red, orange, yellow and deep purple.

They do not last very long, maybe up to a week. So, if you're making a bridal bouquet using ranunculus, you might want to take that point into consideration.
