Sweet and Lovely Ranunculus Bridal Bouquet

Ranunculus or Persian Buttercup, are famous in bridal bouquets. They look like roses or peonies but cheaper.

I like them because I think they are sweet. Their petals feel like soft tissue and they are so densely packed surrounding a center.

But ranunculus are seasonal flowers, they bloom in spring. Once they are available, you can find them in white, pink, red, orange, yellow and deep purple.

They do not last very long, maybe up to a week. So, if you're making a bridal bouquet using ranunculus, you might want to take that point into consideration.

Ranunculus Bridal Bouquet Ideas You Can Try

  • For a winter wedding, a round hand tied bouquet of just red ranunculus. Outlining the bunch are folded aspidistra leaves.
  • For a summer wedding, a round hand-tied bouquet of red ranunculus, green cymbidiums, red hypericum berries and orange callas.
  • For a spring wedding, a round posy bouquet of pink ranunculus with sweet peas, pink peonies and white lily of the valley.
  • For an autumn wedding, a simple round bouquet of yellow and orange ranunculus, tied with an orange ribbon.
