Pomander Bouquets For Weddings

A pomander bouquet is a bouquet shaped like a ball. A ribbon is attached to the ball for brides to hold.

Since it shaped like a ball, the flowers are compactly arranged to form the ball. The same type of flowers can be arranged evenly across the ball and make the ball symmetrical.

But if you are creative enough, you can also make an asymmetrical pomander, where different types of flowers are grouped together and make the ball.

For simple steps on how to make a symmetrical pomander, you can look at the DIY section below.

I think bloom flowers are more preferable to this type of bridal bouquet. Flowers like roses, ranunculus and peonies make beautiful pomanders.

Whereas hyacinths, or gladioulus, or tulips are so feasible.

This type is not only famous for the bride, but the bridesmaids and flower girls as well. The pomanders for the flower girls are much smaller of course.

Usually, the pomander's handle is made of ribbon. But now, it is not restricted to ribbons only. You can see many creative designs of the pomander.

You can use pearl strings as the handle, decorative wires or even lace. For a natural look, you can also use vines like English Ivy as the handle, or leaves that are taped to a wire.

All these make the design interesting, but most importantly, they are practical, which means the bride can comfortably carry the pomander, and the handle is secured strongly to the ball.

Now, let's look at some pomander ideas.
