Orchid Teardrop Bouquet

Why not try to make your own bouquet like this orchid teardrop bouquet, which is very simple to make.

This is a slightly smaller bouquet than the oval bouquet, and therefore suitable for small-sized brides. It has a tropical feel because the use of cymbidium orchids.

Apart from cymbidium orchids, I used beargrass to make this bouquet.

First, you've got to have one stalk of pink cymbidium orchid. And, you cut each flower separately and wire each of them.

I used quite a thick floral wire because a single cymbidium is quite heavy and you need a strong wire to able to handle them.

Then, tape together 3 flowers together to form a bunch.

From there, add on to the bunch by adding one cymbidium at a time and as you go along, keep the teardrop shape in mind.

Tape all the flowers securely together.

Next, let's add the beargrass. Here's how I added the beargrass. Both ends of the beargrass are taped together with the rest of the floral wires.

Now it's time to cover the bouquet holder. I used a gold colored satin ribbon to wrap the holder. After that, I used a maroon coloured organza to tie a ribbon at the holder.

And this is how your bouquet will look like.
