How To Tie A Number 8 Bow

The number 8 bow looks like the number "8". Both loops on each side is the same size. And this bow is often used vertically.

Here, I am going to show you how to make one.

First, make a loop, leaving about 8 cm of ribbon. Make sure the ribbon faces up.

Take the longer end of the ribbon and form another loop of the same size exactly at the bottom of the first loop.

Secure both loops at the center using your finger. At this point, you've created the number "8".

Create another two sets of number 8's. If you use different colored ribbons, your bow will look plentiful.

Now, combine all the number 8's you've created at the center. Be careful not to overlap all the loops. If you created loops of the same size, this will not happen.

Next, place a wire across the center. Make a U shape, then secure the center by twisting the wire at the back. This will create beautiful gathers at the center.

Now, you know what you have to do. Cut away the excess wire and ribbon and you have created the number 8 bow.
