Novelty Flower Arrangements... Let's Get Creative

Novelty flower arrangements are flower arrangements that are created to form something that does not look like an arrangement.

It can be daily ordinary things, an animal, or a person. The use of flowers to create such design requires quite high level of creativity.

Florists are creative by nature and in the floral industry, you can see many novelty designs have been created.

Below are some examples of novelty designs. Some are with instructions on how to do it, so that you can try yourself.

You will certainly have fun making them.

This is an idea of making a hedgehog from pink roses and leucadendron. The cute hedgehog sits in a basket, filled with sisal. Its hands and feet are made of green ribbon.

Birthday Cake

This is a simple design of a 'birthday cake'. They are made of roses and daisies. Actually, there are many ways you can spice up this idea.

You could add strawberries or cherries to the cake to make it look more like the real thing.

Pumpkin

A representation of a pumpkin using mums. What made it looked real I think is the real dried pumpkin stem used.

Cocktail

Who would have thought flowers could transform into wonderful everyday creations like these margaritas?

Want to have a sip? They're so tempting.
