Wonderful Ideas For Kitchen Flower Arrangements!

A kitchen can look dull without any decoration. To bring it 'alive' and 'fresh', decorate with kitchen flower arrangements.

There are so many creative ways to make a flower decoration for the kitchen. And where you place it in the kitchen also play a part in your overall kitchen look.

The best advice to give is to put the arrangements where there is sunlight. This way, the flowers and plants last longer and the colors of the flowers are brought up by the sunlight.

It is such a waste to place a colorful arrangement in a dark area or in the corner where it is less seen and appreciated.

Now, let's look at some of my flower arrangement ideas for the kitchen.

Use containers from the kitchen to arrange flowers

  • Arrange a small bouquet of roses into teacups that comes with matching saucers.
  • Arrange a small bouquet of carnations at the opening of a teapot or a beautiful pitcher.
  • Convert your unused biscuit tin can or tea tin can into your container. Arrange with flowers that match the color of the tin cans.
  • If you have a collection of colorful mugs, use them as containers. Mix and match with matching and complementary color of flowers.

Incorporate kitchen utensils into your arrangement

  • In a vertical arrangement, instead of line flowers as the vertical backbone, use chopsticks or big fork. Mix with other flowers.

Incorporate vegetables into your kitchen flower arrangements

  • Make a small bunch of peach roses with small long beans outlining them. Tie the bunch with rafia rope.
  • Place a broccoli in the middle, then surrounding it are yellow roses. Tie the round bunch with rafia rope as well.
  • Make a small bunch of lavender roses. Surrounding them are small and short brinjals. Tie the bunch with rafia rope
  • Take a large green capsicum, cut some of the top part. Arrange flowers inside it. Do the same with yellow, orange and red capsicum and you have four colorful mini decorations for your kitchen.
  • Similarly, you can cut the top part of a pumpkin, then arrange flowers inside it. Perfect for a fall centerpiece.
