Video Excerpt

Hi, I'm Sandy with Afloral.

Today we're working on wreath rings with fresh flower foams on them.

I have two small ones and they also come in a large size. If you'd like to make a wreath with fresh flowers, this is what you need to use.

So, I soaked this one with water and I soaked this one with water.

What I started doing was covered this wreath with some white carnations. This is a beautiful piece to lay on a table or hang.

We can use this wedding work, funeral work or for fun to decorate your dining table.

You need just short stems, because you can see that our wreath ring is very thin. You want this to be inside the wreath ring.

So, what we're going to do is just place some of the carnations along the outside, some on the top.

You can see quickly, this fills up and make a beautiful candle ring. You can put a nice tall candle in the center, or several different height tapper candles, make it a fat candle, with 3 wicks in it and this would make a beautiful centerpiece.

And this would hold up quite awhile, because carnations are long-lasting flowers and they can be arranged in water.

This fresh flower foam rings make this a quick and easy centerpiece.

I'm using three rows of carnations, one around the outside, one on top and one on the inside. You'll use between 25-30 carnations, to make this design.

So, make sure you get enough. If you like to use less, then start by filling it up with greens. Then, you won't need many flowers.

If you'd like to make something similar to this but you'd like to have some color on it, you can leave a little space on one side, then you can add other flowers.

We'll add a few roses in here.

Maybe you're having a celebration and the color scheme is red and white. So again, cut your stems short, and then add a little color to your wreath.

This one we used some white carnations and red roses and you can fill in with a little greenery and you get a beautiful ring of white carnations and red roses.
