Horizontal Moribana Variation 6

This is explaining about the horizontal moribana variation 6 arrangement. In variation 6 style, the emphasis is given on the arrangement being an all around arrangement.

Shin and Soe are lowered from their original upright positions, to get that horizontal form. Because this is a 360 arrangement, the three main stems are positioned equally apart.

Shin, Soe and Hikae positions are as follows,

Shin = 85 degrees
Soe = 60-65 degrees
Hikae = 75 degrees

Loot at the kakeizu below to understand better.

To make this arrangement, first select the materials. I chose red mini anthuriums and ruscus leaves.

The container, is a brown round ceramic container. I placed a kenzan inside.

Begin, with inserting the three main stems according to their positions in the kakeizu.

Then, add the supportin stems for all the main stems, but remember to keep them low as this is a horizontal arrangement.

And since this is an all-round arrangement, Hikae can be spread out all around the arrangement.

After adding more ruscus leaves and nearly covering the kenzan, your arrangement should look like this.
