Four Season Showcase... Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter

Some of the Theme Showcase from LAMAN 2008 were dedicated to Four Season Showcase.

Here, it is up to the floral designer to design their space to express the four seasons....spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Summer Showcase..

Big wire frames with coconut shells wired to them are used in this showcase. At the bottom, are big calatheas that looked like they were grown from the ground.

To add more color, tropical flowers like purple dendrobiums are used.

Autumn Showcase..

Pillars made of purple daisies is the significant feature of this showcase. The pillars are then decorated with yellow pom poms, and the base are round structures made of short sticks.

A lot of dried leaves are used, too to depict autumn.

Winter Showcase..

A showcase for winter. With the use of white and blue, you can clearly 'feel' winter by looking at this showcase.

Those pointy materials that looked like ice are actually white straws. Cotton is also used to make 'snow'.

White daisies, white dendrobiums, purple dendrobiums and green dendrobiums are used.

Spring Showcase..

A spring showcase, although it does not look like one in my opinion. It's hard to express what the designer is trying to accomplish.

You can see red anthuriums, yellow, orange, purple dendrobiums and green pom poms somewhat hidden beneath the dried twigs.

Those green long materials is actually green paper but crumpled to create such structure.
