Flower Arrangements Ikebana

Ideas from the 46th Annual Ikebana Exhibition Kuala Lumpur Chapter 42

These beautiful flower arrangements ikebana are creations from local ikebana enthusiasts. The use of natural materials are very evident in these arrangements.

That's what ikebana is all about. Appreciate natural materials in its most beautiful and natural state.

This is a flower arrangement using banana leaves, hydrangeas and small stones in a moribana low dish.

The flowers are inserted into kenzans but the kenzans are covered with the stones.

Here is an all round arrangement using various flowers like canna, anthuriums, heliconias, yellow roses, some foliage and baby's breath.

Here is a stylish arrangement of red and pink anthuriums with beautiful big leaf. The container itself is very elegant.

Two different ikebana arrangements but connected with each other at the top.

You can see beautiful purple orchids, white lilies, sprengeri and berries are used at the base, but as the arrangement builds up, you can see beautiful branches and red hypericum berries at the top.

Here is a great idea. Several glass containers placed randomly but interconnected with wooden chopsticks. In one of the glass container, put a stem of orchid.

This is basket arrangement but added design on top. A branch of berries is seen stemming from one side of the basket.

The basket is a simple one, with red gerbera daisies.

A tree bark arrangement using red lilies, a red net and some foliage. Berries are scattered around the tree bark.

This is a modern ikebana arrangement with two silver vases. Pink and purple orchids with blue wire decorate the chic containers.
