Spectacular Floral Events 2007

2007 passed by so quickly. I only managed to attend two floral events. And i am going to share with you the amazing arrangements I saw and my experiences.

First stop...

  • 17th International Floral Festival

This festival was held from 27 May 2007 - 3 June 2007 at the Botanical Gardens, Penang, Malaysia.

I had the chance to visit this festival with my family. Come and see what we experienced.

  • Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival 2007

The Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival 2007 was held at Putrajaya, Malaysia from 25 Aug to 2 September 2007. Boy, was I glad I went there. The exhibits were so creative and professional and there's much to see!

There were great flower arrangement exhibits from local floral designers, then there were also floral sculptures, where many kinds of flowers are arranged into big pieces of art.

The Floral Windows, were booths where the flowers were arranged according to special themes, like flowers for weddings at Celebration Window and Theme Gardens.

I particularly liked the Home Sweet Home section, where creative use of flowers for the home is displayed. Not forgetting, the Fine Dining section, showing how flowers are used to decorate the dining table.

Besides contribution from local designers, international flower associations also participated in this spectacular event. You can see contributions from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia and UK in the International Gardens section.
