Floral Arrangement Design Ideas
At first, I only decided to show you only some of the best floral arrangement design ideas at the flower festival I attended, but I turned out showing you more. Why? Because I find a hard time deciding which one is better than the other. They were all good. Take a look at this piece over here. An armature is used in this arrangement. That armature is made of wood sticks of equal lengths attached together to form a tyre-like structure. And tropical flowers like red anthuriums, red ginger and yellow calathea decorate the tyre. China berries are also used to compliment the arrangement.
This floral arrangement design is a rectangular shaped arrangement using yellow and orange gerberas, together with red anthuriums and green cymbidiums. The foliage used are dracena leaves, polycia leaves and song leaves. The rectangular block is covered with small pieces of cut dracena leaves and pinned to the block. See another arrangement that uses this technique.
This tall arrangement also uses an armature made of rattan. The armature is placed near the focal area to somewhat bring focus to that area. Heliconia, red and green anthuriums are used in this arrangement.
This arrangement is rather interesting. There are separate 3 arrangements but they look like they are connected to each other. Look at how the red carnations are flowing from top to bottom. Other flowers used in this arrangement are, white dendrobiums, blue hydrangeas, purple morning glory, ivy and salix.
This is just a tropical flower arrangement of red anthuriums, hibiscus, green dendrobium, calathea, china berries and fatsia leaf as main foliage.
This is an arrangement of pink hydrangeas, purple agapanthus, johol leaves, song leaves and sprengeri falling from both ends of the arrangement. For added design, salix is added to create more lines into the arrangement.
This is a rather interesting arrangement that uses color foam. Various sizes of yellow color foam is used here, where the inner part is lined with coiled beargrass. Red anthuriums, red carnations, china berries, green apples and ivy leaves are used to compliment the color foams.
Here is an arrangement that emphasizes on its lines. The lines are made of sticks jutting out from the center of the arrangement. The center of arrangement consists of bright pink gerberas, pink carnations, white spider lily, and purple agapanthus.
This arrangement is very oriental. The upper part of the arrangement is actually an inverted crescent arrangement. See another example of an inverted crescent arrangement. The crescent inverted arrangement sits on a nicely arranged sticks which were sprayed with rainbow colors to match the colors of the arrangement. Red gerberas, red and pink carnations, white dendrobiums, china berries are used here. The beargrass is decorated with small bead wire to make it more interesting. To connect the upper part with the base, a red gerbera is placed at the base. Origami further added the oriental influence.
This floral arrangement design also uses yellow color foam with minimal flowers. Salix, red anthuriums, lotus, fruit casa and china berries are used to create this eye-catching piece.
