These ideas were on display at a flower arrangement exhibition I attended. Some ideas include using straws in an arrangement and how rolled up leaves can make an interesting arrangement.

A grand arrangement that fits a hotel lobby, using white phalaenopsis orchids, pink cymbidium orchids with dried salix.


An arrangement that uses white phalaenopsis orchids with green grapes. An interesting feature is the curled leaves in the arrangement.


An arrangement using dried branches, decorated with red lilies, orange berries, green dendrobiums and asparagus ferns.


An interesting design. The upper part contains sunflowers, paphiopedilum orchids and platycerium leaves. They are arranged very naturally.


Here is a close-up of the base. You can see how detailed this arrangement is. Big calatheas with polycia leaves and some plants trunk cut shortly and arranged side by side.


An all pink arrangement of pink roses, liatris, pink plastic pipes with english ivy. Simple but special.


Look at how the leaves are rolled up and used in this arrangement. So many things you can do to make your arrangement unique.


This arrangement uses an armature, and decorated with red roses, Golden Ramseys and red arachnid orchids.


Burgundy calla lilies and pink pansies are used in this arrangement.


An advanced S-curve arrangement on a glass vase. The flow downwards is obvious by the red anthuriums and english ivy. The flow upwards is using calathea, snapdragon and tuberose. The glass vase is filled up with fruit casas.
