How To Tie A Double Butterfly Bow

A double butterfly bow is one level up of the butterfly bow. It is very similar to the butterfly bow with 2 loops on each side.

The beauty of this bow is the gathers in the middle of the bow. Here's how to do it.

First, make a loop, as shown in the picture below. Leave about 5 cm of ribbon. Make sure the ribbon faces up.

Secure at the place where the ribbon meets using one hand. Use the other hand to bring the back of the loop to the meeting point and secure it there.

Take the longer end of the ribbon and make another loop of the same size and overlap it under the meeting point.

Still using the longer end of the ribbon, make another loop of the same size and bring to forward to the meeting point.

While securing the center, place a wire at the meeting point and make a U shape.

Twist the wire tightly at the back, while making sure the gathers are in place.

Then, cut away the excess wire and ribbon to finish the double butterfly bow.
