Send This Cheerful Gerberra Arrangement To Your Friend As A Birthday Gift

This cheerful gerberra arrangement is perfect for a gift to a friend. It has cheerful colours which can make your friend happy when he receives it.

Making it is easy, too. You don't need a container, but a glass plate will do.

It is quite a tall arrangement, so balancing it will be quite a challenge.

First, you need to gather the materials.

  • pink and yellow gerberras
  • ivy leaves
  • fruit casa
  • pink ester
  • wood sticks
  • floral wire
  • floral tape

When that's done, let's start preparing. Prepare the gerberras first. Gerberras are known to have weak stems. In order to strengthen it, we need to wrap the stems with wire.

And to cover that wire, tape the stem using floral tape.

When you've finished wiring the gerberra stems, let's prepare the foam.

Cut the foam into 4 equal pieces of 2 x 2 x 5 inches. Soak in clean water.

Then, arrange the blocks into a square on the glass plate and secure them with wood picks.

Next, arrange the pink and yellow gerberras in your hands and form a round bouquet at the top of your hand, like this.

When you're happy with it, bind the stems together with cellophane tape. To make it stronger, wrap it with floral tape.

Now, insert the gerberra stems into the foam. Make sure the stems are securely inserted and balanced.

Let's decorate the bottom part. Take the ivy leaves and place them around the plate and foam. To maintain its position, we secure the ivy leaves to the foam using floral wire.

And it should look like this...

Insert the rest of the pink and yellow gerberras into the foam. Do not insert too much of them because gerberras are big flowers. At the empty spaces of the foam, fill it up with pink esters.

When that's done, put some fruit casa. For the last part, tie a pink and yellow ribbon at where you taped the gerberra stems.

This is how your cheerful gerberra arrangement will look like. Looks cheerful, doesn't it?
