How To Make A Ball Of Flowers With An Oasis

Duration : 01:42mins

What You Need :

  • a damp round ball of floristry foam measuring 20cm in diameter
  • 50 carnations
  • scissors
  • ruler

Steps To Make

1. Cut the carnation stems with your scissors, leaving 3cm of stem. Always cut the stem on an angle, allowing maximum water absorption.

2. Starting from top, push the stem of your first flower into the oasis, ensuring it sinks all the way into the foam base. 3. Continue in a straight line until the ball is ringed with flowers.

4. Then, make a line halfway around and fill in the quarters.

5. Ensure the flowers are evenly placed with no gaps.

Gently place your ball of carnations in the middle of your table. This should make the perfect centerpiece.
