How To Tie A Butterfly Bow

The butterfly bow is the easiest to make. It is the most simple form of bow.

It is made of a single bow. And I will show you how to do it below.

First, you make a loop, leaving an excess ribbon of about 5 cm.

Secure at where the ribbon meets with one hand. Using the other hand, bring the back of the loop to the meeting point and secure it there.

At the meeting point, place a wire across and make a U-shape.

Pull the wire and ribbon in opposite direction to create gathers.

Twist the wire tightly at the meeting point, while making sure the gathers are in place.

Cut away excess wire and ribbon and your butterfly bow is completed.
