Basic Slanting Nageire Reversed Style of Ikebana

The basic slanting nageire reversed arrangement is the mirror of basic slanting nageire arrangement.

What was on the left side of the arrangement, is now on the right side of the arrangement.

Here is the kakeizu.

The Shin is 45 degrees on the right, Soe is 15 degrees on the right and Hikae is 75 degrees on the left.

Let's see how we can arrange flowers this way.

First and foremost, remember that in a nageire arrangement, we need to have cross-bar fixtures to help flowers maintain in their positions.

When the fixture is fixed, we can now arrange the flowers. I have used yellow chrysanthemums as the Hikae and bupleurum as Shin and Soe.

After inserting the Shin, Soe and Hikae, I inserted the supporting stems for Hikae.

Since the Shin and Soe are already 'heavy', I decided not to put the supporting stems for Shin and Soe.

So, my basic slanting nageire reversed arrangement will look like this.

Always remember, out of the four compartments from the cross-bar fixture, only 3 should be used, to allow ventilation in the vase.
